Minister Bangalu Attends Doe Funeral, Represents President Boakai at Groundbreaking Ceremony in Zwedru
Youth and Sports Minister, Cllr. Jeror Cole Bangalu, accompanied by several of his Deputies and Assistant Ministers, attended the funeral of former Liberian President Samuel K. Doe and former First Lady Nancy B. Doe in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County.
While in Zwedru, Minister Bangalu also represented His Excellency Joseph N. Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia, at a significant event hosted by the Grand Gedeh Association in the Americas (GGAA)—the groundbreaking ceremony for a Multi-User Sports Park on the campus of Grand Gedeh University College.
The project, which seeks to promote youth empowerment, academic excellence, and community development through sports, appears both visionary and realistically achievable. It reflects the enduring commitment of GGAA to the advancement of Grand Gedeh County.
We are proud of the GGAA, the people of Grand Gedeh, for this remarkable initiative that promises lasting impact, Minister Bangalu concluded.
