Peace Corps Country Director Pays a Courtesy Visit on Youth and Sports Minister

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Cllr. Jeror Cole Bangalu met with the Peace Corps Country Director, Madam Vernice Guthrie, on June 27, 2025, at his office at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville.
Minister Bangalu warmly welcomed Madam Guthrie and described their engagement as both constructive and inspiring. He expressed particular appreciation for her commitment to building a strong partnership between the Peace Corps and the Ministry’s National Service Program.
The Minister emphasized that this collaboration represents a significant step forward in advancing youth engagement, promoting skills development, and expanding national service opportunities throughout Liberia.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports is excited about the promising prospects of this partnership and remains committed to working closely with the Peace Corps to transform their shared vision into impactful programs that will empower and uplift young people across the country.
