Ministry of Youth and Sports Holds Strategic Planning Meeting for 2025-2030

The Ministry of Youth and Sports today convened a high-level Strategic Planning Meeting to review and refine its Strategic Plan for the period 2025–2030. The session focused on a comprehensive reassessment of key policy areas, including Finance, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Procurement, Asset Management, and Human Resources.

This planning process is part of a broader effort to reposition the Ministry for greater effectiveness, accountability, and service delivery in line with national development goals. It is also in alignment with the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development (AAID), which seeks to drive sustainable growth and equitable opportunities for all Liberians, especially the youth.

The theme of the new strategic plan is:
“Empowering the Youth of Liberia for Global Excellence through Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Sportsmanship, and Collaboration.”
This vision reflects the Ministry’s renewed commitment to equipping young people with the skills, opportunities, and support they need to thrive in an increasingly competitive global environment.
